Arrivals: - Afternoons only: from 3:00 PM to 6:30/7:00 PM (depending on the period).
Departures: - Mornings only: before noon.
Payments: - Due the day before departure.
Any early arrival or late departure will be charged.
Wi-Fi is available and free around the common areas. For business and ecological reasons, it is not available on the pitches.
Access: - Follow the D219 between Mauves and Plats (do not rely on GPS). - At the entrance to Plats (coming from Tournon), turn left and follow the "Ferme de Simondon" signs for 2 km.
The 3-star campsite La Ferme de Simondon is located in a quiet hamlet, set off the main road (at the end of the road), on three grassy terraces facing the Vercors. The hamlet is entirely dedicated to welcoming visitors.
Upon arrival, you can park your car and move around freely! Parents and children are free to explore at their own pace !
Set in the heart of nature, with breathtaking views of the Rhône Valley and the Vercors mountains, our campsite offers a warm, family-friendly welcome in a relaxing environment.
You can rest and take life at your own pace, enjoying the extraordinary surroundings and the presence of farm animals (donkeys, sheep, chickens).
The terraces, designed for comfortable nights, are unlit: no visual pollution, providing unobstructed views and a starry sky…
On 1.4 hectares, we offer 27 spacious pitches, spread across 3 grassy terraces and enhanced with vegetation. The pitches range from 100 to 300 m² and are all equipped with an electrical connection.
Environmentally conscious, we practice selective waste sorting and provide a dedicated trash area (glass, paper, packaging, cardboard, and metal).
The sheep, lambs, donkeys, and chickens are accustomed to our presence and will appreciate your gentle attention, calmness, and composting of your green waste!
New! We have installed solar panels to provide hot water for the campsite’s sanitary facilities, using renewable solar energy.
The sanitary facilities include: - 1 shower cabin with sink, - 4 shower-only cabins, - 4 separate toilets, - 1 accessible cabin (WC, shower, and sink), - 4 dishwashing sinks, - 1 washing machine.
For our motorhome friends, please note that our wastewater system (septic tank) does not allow chemical toilet emptying. You can make arrangements before or after your stay at nearby free service areas: - Leclerc Drive in Tournon-sur-Rhône, - Parking at the entrance of Saint-Romain-de-Lerps (coming via Plats), - Service area in the village of Cornas.
